Speaking at the opening of the seventh session of the National Assembly Standing Committee in Hanoi on Thursday, Mr. Man said the Land Law is fundamental to the economy and directly affects people’s lives. He urged lawmakers to focus on key issues and ensure the law is practical, feasible, and responsive to development needs.

Mr. Man said: “We must work carefully and thoroughly on the Land Law. The previous revision in 2024 took four sessions to pass. Therefore, completing and passing the Land Law at this session must be a top priority. It affects the entire economy and people’s lives.”

Man said this is the Standing Committee’s final preparatory session for the upcoming National Assembly session, which is expected to consider 38 laws and several major resolutions.

He called for stronger innovation in legislative thinking and working methods, and for agencies to improve the quality of documents submitted to the National Assembly.
