Park denied all charges at her first court hearing on Tuesday over a massive corruption scandal that led to her being ousted in March. A prosecutor said that they will do their best to prove the allegations surrounding the case. Park's lawyer Yoo Yeong-ha said the charges filed by the prosecution are based on "inference and imagination, not strict evidence."

Her second hearing is scheduled for Thursday. The court plans to hold several hearings a week and is expected to deliver the ruling within six months of the indictment, which took place on April 17.
