Turkish coup: Turkey asks the US to extradite cleric Gulen

(VOVworld) - Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday the US, a strategic partner of Turkey, should facilitate the extradition of cleric Fethullah Gulen, whom Ankara blames for orchestrating last month's failed military coup.

Washington has reacted cautiously and said it needs to see clear evidence to prove Gulen's involvement in the failed July coup.
