US sticks to peace measures on Korean Peninsula

(VOVWORLD) -US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson declared Sunday that North Korea's latest missile test was a "provocative act" act against the United States and its allies but said that he still hopes to persuade Pyongyang to come to the negotiating table.

The US will work with China to see if it can begin a dialogue with Pyongyang, he said. North Korea on Saturday fired 3 missiles into the sea between the Korean Peninsula and Japan.
