An “Immortal regiment” movement has spread from Russia to many cities worldwide, inspiring people around the globe to march in commemoration of their loved ones who fought in World War II. The march in Kiev, Ukraine, this year was attended by 20,000 people. Celebration of Victory Day is also observed in Donetsk and Lugansk in eastern Ukraine.
