Vietnam Airlines changes routes to avoid potential Syrian conflict

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam Airlines’ flights departing from and arriving in Europe will change air routes in order to avoid the Black Sea, an area in high risk of being affected by the Syrian conflict.

The national carrier puts safety first, though the change, applied to flights departing from Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh city to Paris/Frankfurt/London, will lengthen the flights and require extra costs. The airlines will closely monitor the situation for appropriate plans.
