Algerian Minister of Trade Mohamed Benmeradi met with Vietnamese Ambassador to Algeria Pham Quoc Tru and Trade Counselor Hoang Duc Nhuan (Source: Vietnam Embassy in Algeria)

The two sides discussed bilateral trade cooperation and agreed to continue refining legal frameworks, and renegotiate the 1994 free trade agreement between Vietnam and Algeria. They also discussed ways to increase trade promotion activities, allow foreign enterprises to take part in trade events in their country, and inform each other about changes in policies and trade measures.
