The fair has drawn 200 businesses from 20 countries and territories. Vietnam News Agency quoted David Kwok, Business Manager of the Co May company, which ships rice from Vietnam to Singapore, as saying that Vietnamese rice has become more popular in Singapore. The company’s imports of Vietnamese rice are now triple what they were two years ago. Kwok added that the Co May will continue to promote Vietnamese rice at upcoming international exhibitions.
