Vietnam, Cuba strengthen bilateral cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and Cuba need to continue their bilateral cooperation, pushing to put their economic and trade ties on a par with political relations.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh made the statement at a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for new Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera.

Ambassador Rivera underscored her commitment to deepening the bilateral relationship.
