Vietnam highly values Mexico’s role in Latin America: Top leader

[VOVWORLD] - Vietnam always treasures Mexico’s role and position in Latin America and considers the Mexican Labour Party (PT) a traditional and trusted partner of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), Party General Secretary and State President To Lam said at a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Senator and PT General Secretary Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez, who is on a working visit to Vietnam through Friday.

Mr. Lam welcomed the signing of a 2026-2031 cooperation agreement between the CPV and the PT during the visit, describing it as an important milestone that demonstrates the two parties’ shared determination and strengthens the political foundation for elevating Vietnam-Mexico relations to a new level.

The two sides agreed to strengthen the role of the two parties in guiding Vietnam-Mexico relations and enhance coordination at international forums and through Party mechanisms, including youth exchanges.
