In his opening remarks, Phan Anh Son, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, said he hopes the event will become a regular, substantive, and effective mechanism for dialogue, connectivity, and cooperation, where shared ideas are turned into concrete projects, partners are connected, and initiatives produce practical outcomes.

He called on the World Peoples Assembly and its member organizations in 60 countries to mobilize resources, expand cooperation with Vietnam, set priorities, develop projects with tangible outputs, and create long-term value.

The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations’ network of more than 600 international partners is well positioned to work with the World Peoples Assembly to connect social organizations, research institutes, universities, businesses, academics, and intellectuals.

Such cooperation will expand people-to-people ties between Vietnam and other countries, said Mr. Son.
