Mr. Hien said VOV is moving beyond traditional broadcasting and expanding its digital distribution, allowing audiences to access programs anytime, anywhere. He expressed hope for closer cooperation with Iranian media organizations through information sharing and journalist exchanges.

“With the support of the ambassador and the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam, we hope the two sides can sign a cooperation agreement and develop concrete annual activities. We also want to exchange journalist delegations to report on each other’s countries, people and achievements in science and technology. We hope to organize multimedia reporting trips, producing compelling radio stories and digital content about Iran and its people,” said the VOV Deputy General Director.

Ambassador Akbar Ghasemi Ali Abadi emphasized the importance of media cooperation in strengthening mutual understanding, promoting cultural exchanges, and expanding bilateral ties.

“Iran’s broadcasting organization has representatives in 20 countries, including four offices in Southeast Asia. I hope to promote exchanges between our broadcasting organization and VOV, and would very much welcome a VOV journalist delegation to visit Iran. I believe our two organizations can exchange information on current affairs, culture and social issues,” said the Iranian Ambassador.

The Iranian ambassador reaffirmed his country’s readiness to expand cooperation with VOV across media platforms and introduce both countries and their people to international audiences.
