Vinh hosted a reception for Sounoura Kentaro, adviser to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, in Hanoi on Monday. He said two defense ministries have engaged in many joint activities, exchanged high-level delegations, held many meetings for young officers, and cooperated in UN peace-keeping operations.
Mr. Kentaro said Japan will partner with Vietnam to deal with bomb and mine clearance and dioxin remediation.
