Deputy PM Giang proposed that the two countries establish a cooperation mechanism between their foreign ministries and continue to support each other at multilateral forums. He also called for stronger trade and investment promotion, greater market access, and expanded cooperation in fisheries and energy.

Mr. Giang said Vietnam is ready to share its experience in government modernization and digital transformation with Mauritania.

Mr. Lam said Mauritania attaches great importance to its relationship with Vietnam and greatly admires Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements. He expressed confidence that his visit will mark the beginning of a new phase in bilateral relations.
