Vietnam National University, University of California further cooperation

On Tuesday, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu received University of California vice chancellor Scott Waugh, who was attending the third International Conference on Innovations in Cancer Research and Regenerative Medicine in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Thu lauded the cooperation between the two universities, particularly in molecular structure study and the establishment of the Centre for Molecular and Nano Architecture in 2011. She expressed her hope that the University of California will continue to strengthen collaboration with HCM City in research and training.

The Centre for Molecular and Nano Architecture was set up by the two universities to promote research on molecules and nano particles, and material production for green technology.
