The two-day event attracted 2,000 participants, including officials, economists, businesses and development organizations from 43 African countries and international partners, including Vietnam.

During the forum, a number of cooperation agreements in investment, trade and economic development were signed. AFIC 12 aims to promote productive investment, boost intra-African trade and improve market access in line with emerging economic trends across the continent.

On the sidelines of the forum, organizers arranged exhibition spaces showcasing major enterprises and flagship products from African countries and international partners. On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy and Trade Office in Algeria set up a booth introducing Vietnam’s key agricultural exports, including coffee, tea, pepper, turmeric, cinnamon, star anise, desiccated coconut, milk products, canned fruit juice and plastic resins.

Many visitors had the opportunity to sample Vietnamese coffee and expressed strong appreciation for the product.
