At the forum, held on Wednesday in Hanoi, speakers suggested that ensuring energy security and advancing the green transition be carried out simultaneously on the basis of a modern energy system, diversified energy sources, efficient resource utilization, and the stronger application of science and technology, innovation, and private sector participation.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang said: "Localities, especially those with strong renewable energy potential, should take the initiative in planning, improving the investment environment, and simplifying administrative procedures to offer the most favorable conditions for green projects. The Government will continue to support businesses and local authorities, listen to their concerns, and help remove obstacles."
Deputy Prime Minister Thang called on the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to continue working closely with ministries, local authorities, and partners to develop support programs for businesses.
