Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan made the statement on Thursday while attending the 7th CICA Summit in Azerbaijan.
Ms. Xuan praised CICA’s progress over the past three decades and its important role in fostering dialogue, mutual understanding, and trust among countries, and helping to maintain regional peace and stability while expanding cooperation across Asia.
She highlighted Vietnam’s achievements in laying a solid foundation for a new phase of development, guided by two strategic goals: becoming a developing country with modern industry and upper-middle-income status by 2030, and becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045.
