Vietnam, Russia strengthen international information security cooperation

[VOVWORLD] - Ambassador Do Hung Viet, Head of Vietnam’s Permanent Mission to the UN, on Friday deposited the instrument of ratification of the UN Convention against Cybercrime (the Hanoi Convention) with the UN Office of Legal Affairs (OLA).

[VOVWORLD] - Party General Secretary and President To Lam on Tuesday signed the decision approving the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, making Vietnam the first country in Southeast Asia and the second in the world to ratify the Hanoi Convention, after Qatar.

(VOVWORLD) - The first meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee to elaborate the Rules of Procedure for the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, also known as the Hanoi Convention, was held from January 26 to 30 in Vienna, Austria.
