At a meeting with the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, in Kazan on Tuesday as part of his working visit to Russia, Prime Minister Hung reaffirmed the Vietnamese government’s commitment to creating favorable conditions for Russian businesses, including those from Tatarstan, to invest and operate sustainably in Vietnam.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that Tatarstan would soon identify suitable Vietnamese localities for partnership and encouraged airlines from both countries to explore the development of direct commercial flights linking Kazan and Hanoi.
Mr. Minnikhanov highlighted Tatarstan’s key industrial strengths, including Kamaz truck manufacturing, chemicals, civil aviation, petrochemicals, textiles, and furniture production.
He also noted the region’s focus on developing small and medium-sized enterprises and information technology industrial parks.
