In his remarks, Vietnamese Ambassador to South Korea Vu Ho emphasized that economic cooperation continues to serve as a key pillar of bilateral relations. He urged the two countries to capitalize on the complementarity of their economies and expand cooperation into strategic sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, clean energy, digital transformation, and innovation.
The ambassador also reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to improving the investment climate, accelerating institutional reforms, and supporting foreign enterprises, including the South Korean business community.
At the seminar, many South Korean enterprises described Vietnam as an attractive investment destination and expressed interest in expanding cooperation in energy transition, digital technology, high-quality human resource training, and strategic technology industries.
A highlight of the event was the signing of several memoranda of understanding between the Vietnam Trade Office and the Vietnam Science and Technology Office in South Korea with Korean partners including KOEN, KNP, G-Tops, and Megazone Cloud in the fields of energy, cloud computing, digital transformation, workforce training, and business connectivity.
