During talks with the Algerian foreign minister, Minister Le Hoai Trung proposed that the two sides effectively implement cooperation agreements between the PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) and Algeria’s national oil company Sonatrach, while urging Algeria to continue creating favorable conditions for PVEP’s operations in the country.

For his part, Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf affirmed Algeria’s commitment to advancing cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in investment, energy, agriculture, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

In talks with Namibian Foreign Minister Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister Le Hoai Trung proposed expanding cooperation in potential areas such as trade, investment, and economic development. He also called on Namibia to support Vietnam’s negotiations for a free trade agreement with the Southern African Customs Union (SACU).

Minister Selma Ashipala-Musavyi expressed her hope that both countries would promote exchanges to boost trade turnover and strengthen cooperation in agriculture, fisheries, logistics, and manufacturing.
