The bidding round was opened on Sunday in Algiers by the Algerian National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources (Alnaft).

Algerian officials expect the bidding will expand the participation of international energy corporations to enhance exploration capacity and increase the oil and gas industry value chain.

PVEP is engaged in the oil exploration project in Blocks 433a & 416b, Bir Seba field in the Hassi Messaoud area of ​​Ouargla province, more than 600 km south of Algiers. It’s one of PetroVietnam’s most successful overseas oil and gas projects, showcasing the management, operation, and production organization capabilities of Vietnamese engineers globally.
