She made the statement during a meeting on Thursday with Kelly Coldiron, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Asia and Acting Executive Director of SelectUSA at the US Department of Commerce.

Ms. Hang called on the US Department of Commerce to encourage American companies to take part in APEC 2027 activities and contribute initiatives in trade, investment, the digital economy, and innovation.

Ms. Coldiron commended Vietnam's preparations for APEC 2027 and expressed her readiness to work with the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other agencies to advance trade and digital economy cooperation and support businesses in both countries.
