Vietnamese, Chinese Party leaders exchange New Year greetings

(VOVWORLD) - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President Xi Jinping on Thursday extended greetings to each other as the two countries’ people are preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The two leaders lauded the development of Vietnam-China relations in recent times and affirmed their determination to deepen the friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two Parties for the benefits of people.

Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong wished Chinese leaders and people a happy Lunar New Year, while Xi Jinping hoped Vietnam will gain more remarkable achievements in the New Year.
