Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS), in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, on Thursday, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc said Vietnam consistently attaches importance to and supports the success of the two events.

Mr. Tuc called for the effective implementation of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0, promoting more balanced and sustainable ASEAN-China trade and investment, stronger digital connectivity and innovation, including the effective use of artificial intelligence and cross-border e-commerce, and strengthening ASEAN-China infrastructure connectivity by land, rail, sea and air.

This year’s CAEXPO and CABIS are themed “Sharing the Opportunities of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 and Creating a Better Life Together.”

The events focus on implementing the upgraded China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and promoting high-quality economic growth.

Vietnam has 120 businesses participating in the events, with more than 200 exhibition booths showcasing a wide range of products.
