The consensus was reached at their bilateral meeting in Bali, Indonesia on Friday, on the fringes of the ASEAN Leaders’ Gathering (ALG) and the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB). The government leaders consented to boost cooperation between the two nations, particularly in economy and trade. PM Hun Sen said his government will continue offering incentives for Vietnamese investors.
PM Phuc thanked his counterpart’s close assistance toward creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese-Cambodians to secure legal status and integrate into the local society.

In another development, Mr. Phuc earlier on Friday met with Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani. He asked KADIN to recommend the Indonesian Government measures to further facilitate imports from Vietnam, and improve coordination in verifying documents on origin, quality control and quarantine of agricultural and fishery products.
