At a meeting with Thomas Price, US Secretary of Health and Human Services, Mr. Phuc said the Vietnamese government acknowledged medical cooperation between the two countries and the effective participation of the Embassy, the CDC, USAID, and non-governmental organizations. He expressed his wish that medical cooperation will be expanded to many areas such as HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, and influenza prevention.
