General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his deep emotion and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, recalling his years travelling abroad in search of a path to national liberation, and the French people’s affection and support for President Ho Chi Minh during his years living and working in France. Montreau Park has long been a sacred place, carrying profound historical significance and value for Vietnamese people visiting France.
General Secretary and President To Lam later visited the Ho Chi Minh Space at the Museum of Living History in Montreau Park.
Mr. Lam expressed his thanks to the Mayor, authorities and people of Montreuil for always considering the Ho Chi Minh Space an integral part of the city’s cultural heritage and for their dedication to preserve the site. He expressed his confidence that Montreuil would continue to work closely with Vietnam to ensure that the site remains a shining symbol of Vietnam-France friendship.
Mayor Patrice Bessac said that Montreuil and the Vietnamese people have long been bound by sincere friendship and solidarity. President Ho Chi Minh is an inseparable part of the city’s history, said Mr Bessac.
