Vietnam's agro-forestry-seafood exports up 7.5% in past seven months

[VOVWORLD] - Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery exports reached nearly 43 billion USD in the first seven months of 2026, up 7.5% from a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

Farm exports totaled 22.2 billion USD, followed by forestry products at nearly 11 billion USD and seafood at 6.8 billion USD.

Asia remained Vietnam's largest export market, accounting for more than 45% of total exports. China was the top buyer, followed by the United States and Japan.

Fruit and vegetable exports rose nearly 25% from a year earlier, while seafood exports increased 12.7%.
