Speaking at a ceremony to mark the sector’s 60th anniversary in Hanoi on Friday, the Party leader asked the sector to strengthen technological application to increase competitiveness in the region and the wider world. Mr. Trong said: “It’s necessary to fine-tune the legal system, mechanisms and policies to make the real estate market effective, stable, and transparent. We need to effectively use resources, especially land, and contribute to stabilizing the macro-economy and promote growth. It’s necessary to consider housing for the people one of the main pillars of the social security policy, and settle housing problems of national contributors, the poor, rural people and workers in industrial parks.”
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Vietnamese Party and State leaders, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung presented the Labor Order, First Class, to the construction sector.
