In the first half of the year, the sector generated more than 22 billion USD in export revenue, up 1.7% from the same period in 2025. Growth was driven primarily by exports of fabrics, fibers, yarns, and garment accessories.
To achieve its annual target, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association has outlined several key priorities, including adapting to new purchasing models adopted by global brands, expanding domestic production of raw materials, diversifying markets, customers, and product lines, strengthening legal risk management, and accelerating investment in technology, automation, and digital transformation.
