At CEA, Mr. Lam was briefed on France’s strengths and advanced technologies in nuclear energy, semiconductors, quantum technology, and artificial intelligence.
The Vietnamese leader called on CEA to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in human resource training, nuclear regulatory capacity and safety, and the transfer of core technologies, while promoting cooperation in semiconductors, aerospace, and quantum technology.
At Thales, Mr. Lam toured laboratories conducting research on semiconductors and advanced materials and learned about technologies in hardware, quantum technology, AI, and cybersecurity.
On the occasion, Thales and Vietnam’s GTEL Corporation signed a cooperation agreement covering artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and cybersecurity in Vietnam.
