In 2017, the organization promoted peace, solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between peoples, contributing to the relationship between Vietnam and its traditional friends and partners.

In 2018, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations will continue multilateral diplomatic activities and strengthen solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding between Vietnamese and people in other countries.
