Following the playing of the national anthems and a 21-gun salute honoring the royal couple, who are paying a state visit to Vietnam, the two leaders and their high-level delegations held talks.

The state visit to Vietnam by the King and Queen of Thailand holds special significance as it marks a new historic milestone in the fine friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Thailand over the past 50 years.
