Deputy Prime Minister Tuc was speaking at the ceremony of 2026 Vietnam Women’s Award, the second Nguyen Thi Dinh Award, and the launch of the 2027 competition on "Women’s Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Vietnamese Brands" in Hanoi.
The event was organized by the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) to mark the 96th anniversary of its founding and Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20).
Mr. Tuc urged the Vietnam Women’s Union to continue recognizing women as the central agents of development and to innovate its operations. "I hope that every Vietnamese woman will always believe in her own capabilities, pursue continuous learning, master technology, and work alongside her family members to build a happy, progressive home."
"I also hope that the Vietnam Women’s Union will continue to serve as a warm, shared home and a steadfast bridge connecting the Party and the State with its members and all Vietnamese women. I am confident that, with their resilience, intellect, and aspiration to excel, Vietnamese women will continue to contribute to the beauty and splendor of our nation, joining the entire country in driving rapid and sustainable development in this new era," the Deputy PM added.
During the event, the Vietnam Women’s Award was presented to 5 collectives and 12 individuals for their projects and initiatives being successfully applied in practice.
Organizers introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) expert—"AI Women Start Up"—designed to provide guidance, answer questions, and facilitate connections and the various resources available to support women entrepreneurs.
