Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Truong Thi Mai told the ceremony that the contest aims to honor reporters, press agencies, collaborators, and citizens and uphold their roles and responsibilities in discovering and promoting outstanding individuals in the field. Mai said: “We hope that there will be more stories about examples of those who have carried out work for improving relations between the Party and people, between local authorities and people, and between social organizations and people.”
Each reporter or a group of reporters is allowed to send a maximum of 3 stories which are written in Vietnamese and published or broadcast in the mass media.
