The event aimed to respond to 17 United Nations sustainable development goals (SDGs), which center around poverty, gender inequality, and environmental pollution. It suggested initiatives and measures to achieve the 17goals, and discussed the challenges facing youth during the fourth Industrial Revolution. The annual forum is sponsored the AIESEC, an independent non-governmental organization that promotes youth leadership. This year, the forum attracted 500 young business leaders and social activists.
