(VOVWORLD) - From 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday to 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Vietnam reported 2,787 new cases, of which 12 were imported and the rest were locally-transmitted, Ho Chi Minh City had most cases with 1,739.

Ho Chi Minh City urged to reduce mild cases progressing to severe COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City's biggest challenge is how to reduce the rate of mild cases progressing to severe and to very severe cases, said Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on Monday. He urged the city‘s preparedness for the situation where the number of positive cases continues to rise, despite efforts to send back to community infected cases which are no longer a risk of transmission.
