This year's race has the largest number of international participants in the 11 seasons held so far. The race’s four standard distances are 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km, organizers told a press conference on Sunday.

The Ha Long Heritage International Marathon is the only race in Vietnam to be awarded the World Athletics Label Road Race by the World Athletics Federation.
