Speaking at the event entitled “Outstanding Young Start-up Entrepreneurs 2026”, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang said that as Vietnam enters a new era of development, entrepreneurship is not merely about establishing businesses, but must also be associated with science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, modern governance, ethical business culture, and social responsibility.
Vietnam needs young entrepreneurs who can create wealth legitimately, while also demonstrating patriotism, business ethics, social responsibility, and the aspiration to build Vietnamese enterprises of global stature, he added.
“The Government will continue to work alongside the business community, especially young start-ups. We will further improve institutions, create a more transparent, open and low-cost investment and business environment, simplify administrative procedures and business conditions. We will also support access to capital, land, data, science and technology, digital transformation, markets and human resources; and promptly address obstacles. These efforts are aimed at creating a safe and favorable environment for young people to confidently start businesses, innovate and grow,” said Mr. Thang.
The Deputy Prime Minister called on the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Federation, and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to continue supporting young entrepreneurs. He stressed the need to build an ecosystem and establish post-award support mechanisms to help young enterprises grow sustainably and contribute to the goal of building a prosperous, strong, civilized, and happy nation.
