At the meeting, constituents proposed that the province continue comprehensive infrastructure investment for the Hai Minh Island area, place power lines underground in central streets to minimize storm damage, accelerate urban beautification, and protect the marine environment.
Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan pledged to enhancing urban aesthetics, restoring order to sidewalks, protecting the marine environment, and building Quy Nhon into a civilized, safe, and friendly tourism city—a process in which public cooperation is the decisive factor.
“Gia Lai province has made great efforts to host events here to boost tourism. Now, we need the cooperation of the local people. The immediate benefits include jobs, income, and the growth of service sectors. If residents do a good job, tourists will return. This is precisely what will drive economic development,” said Tuan.
