The Ho Chi Minh City High Command said search teams have recovered 197 sets of remains since June 23, including 171 individual burials and 26 sets of remains from six mass graves.
On Monday alone, crews uncovered 15 additional sets of remains and nine groups of personal artifacts in Sector B of the park.
Search teams have continued expanding the excavation area, removing nearly 500 cubic meters of soil over the past two days to reach locations believed to contain more wartime graves.
The recovery effort is part of Vietnam's nationwide 500 day- campaign to locate, recover, and identify the remains of soldiers still missing decades after the war.
