At the Dak Lak Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery in Phu Yen Ward, delegates offered flowers and incense in memory of President Ho Chi Minh, fallen heroes and martyrs, and compatriots. During the ceremony on Monday, the organising committee presented 15 scholarships to disadvantaged students and 10 gift packages to policy beneficiary families and families of war invalids and martyrs.
On Sunday evening, a candle-lighting ceremony was held at the Dak Lak Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery in Tan Lap Ward, with the participation of more than 1,000 Youth Union members. Tribute ceremonies were held simultaneously at memorials and martyrs' cemeteries in communes and wards throughout Dak Lak Province.
Nguyen Thao Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union, said: “We want to express our gratitude to our predecessors who made great contributions to the cause of national liberation and the struggle for the country's independence and freedom. These activities also help educate young people about the nation's revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride, and the enduring values of gratitude and remembrance. At the same time, they reflect the collective efforts of authorities and organisations at all levels to support the families of war invalids, martyrs, and people who rendered meritorious service to the revolution.”
