(VOVWORLD) -The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) is holding its “What do you know about Vietnam?” contest from March 10, 2025, to June 30, 2025. The following are VOV’s Vice President Ngo Minh Hien’s message about the contest as well as its questions and rules.

(VOVWORLD) -VOV won one first prize, one second prize, and two third prizes at the 7th Press Awards on Natural Resources and the Environment. The prizes were announced at a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

(VOVWORLD) - The 10th National External Information Service Awards ceremony took place at the Hanoi Opera House on Tuesday evening.

(VOVWORLD) - A delegation of the Party Communication Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region visited Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and attended the closing ceremony of the documentary “The Path of Development” at VOV headquarters in Hanoi on Tuesday.

(VOVWORLD) - Emeritus Artist Tran Phương from the Mekong Delta was one of the first four Southern voices to be featured on the Voice of Vietnam. He was a unique figure in Vietnamese broadcasting history, being the sole Southern broadcaster to read the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam in 1973, and the first to deliver a commentary in 1975 to declare to the world that Vietnam was reunified. Tran Phuong has passed away in Can Tho city at the age of 89.

(VOVWORLD) - VOV’s News Department was honored with a "For the Cause of Great National Unity" press award on Monday in Hanoi for a story titled "General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong: Man of the People - Man of History."

(VOVWORLD) -VOV President Do Tien Sy said he wishes to work closer with Vietnamese diplomats abroad in providing information and connecting experts to make VOV’s newly-launched program "Vietnam rising era” reach out to the wider public.

(VOVWORLD) - 69 years of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic ties topped the agenda of a workshop between the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Voice of Indonesia (VOI) in Hanoi on Sunday. Both sides expressed the hope that radio programs will further strengthen relations between the two countries.

(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam took home the 2024 Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) prize in the News Reporting category. The awards ceremony took place in Istanbul, Turkey, on Tuesday.

(VOVWORLD) - 32,500 USD worth of milk, notebooks, and medicines plus 6,100 USD in cash were delivered by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) to flood-hit people in Quang Kim commune, Lao Cai province, on Wednesday.
