(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City has planned to suspend the operations of field hospitals or changed their mode of operations because COVID-19 new infections and deaths are on the decline and support forces sent from other parts of Vietnam will withdraw starting next week.

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health is drawing up guidelines for vaccinating children against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, with the roll-out poised to begin sometime in October, according to Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan.

(VOVWORLD) - From 5 p.m. on Thursday to 5 p.m. on Friday, Vietnam recorded 4,806 new infections, of which 11 were imported and 4,795 were locally-transmitted. Ho Chi Minh City had the most cases: 2,215.
