(VOVWORLD) - The Torito de Pucará or Pucara bull statue is a character full of mysticism and clay-based art commonly found in the South of Peru. The colorful character is the most representative ceramic of the Pucará culture and the Peruvian culture. Late last month, these bulls were exhibited in Hanoi as part of a cultural promotion project initiated by the Peruvian Foreign Ministry entitled "Torito de Pucará: Ambassador of the Peruvian Highlands" and in a series of activities to mark 29 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Peru. This week’s Cultural Rendezvous will explore the art of the Pucara bull and how it changed when it came to Vietnam.

Mahros, the wife of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Vietnam. She held a party recently to introduce Al-Qatt Al-Asiri, a traditional style of Saudi interior wall decoration.

Li, the nearly forgotten music of the Chakhesang Naga tribe, one of the major Naga ethnic groups, are unique and specific to the locals’ agrarian lifestyle. In this week’s Cultural Rendezvous, the Tetseo Sisters, a famous Indian folk music band from Nagaland, will help us learn more about the Chokri Li. The band just concluded a Vietnam tour, visiting Hai Duong, Lao Cai, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, and Hanoi as part of a cultural program to promote Indian folk music to Vietnamese audiences and to celebrate the 77th Independence Day of India.
