On the construction sites, contractors have mobilized maximum manpower and machinery to complete the projects before August 30, as directed by the Hue City People’s Committee. Local authorities will make safety inspections of the classrooms and boarding facilities before welcoming students.
Nguyen Thi Lieu, Vice Chairwoman of the A Luoi 3 communal People’s Committee, said: "We have surveyed the facilities and equipment at the schools, which were merged so that usable equipment could be transferred to the multi-level boarding school, avoiding waste. The local authorities began enrollment in July and will continue to enroll students, giving priority to those from poor households and remote areas who are disadvantaged."
The multi-level boarding schools will give children of ethnic groups better quality education and accommodations. Le Hung, Principal of Phu Vinh Primary School in A Luoi 3 commune, said: "In the 2026-2027 school year, they’ll study at a multi-level school with new facilities and accommodations for boarding or semi-boarding, and better care from teachers."
The pupils and their parents have expressed excitement as the boarding schools get ready to begin operations. Do Thi Gam, the mother of one student, said: "I live in Phu Vinh village in A Luoi 3 commune. I’m very happy and proud that our commune now has a spacious school. I’m very happy and reassured that my child will be studying in such a school."
