A delegation of 200 people of various ages, professions, and localities, has just recently visited Truong Sa. Le Anh Tuan of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said whoever they are, wherever they come from, they all share the same feeling about the national sea and islands.
“This was my first trip to Truong Sa. I had read a lot about the hardships endured by soldiers and local islanders on Truong Sa archipelago. When I came to visit, I was deeply moved and greatly admired their spirit, perseverance, and determination to overcome difficulties and hardships to safeguard the nation’s territory,” Tuan said.
The passengers aboard Ship 571 to Truong Sa brought love and solidarity from the mainland to the islanders.
70-year-old Nguyen Thi Hong Hai of Hanoi said: “I feel proud and deeply moved to visit the islands. The soldiers endure many hardships to safeguard our national sovereignty.”
