(VOVWORLD) - The Cuc Phuong National Park and the French Embassy in Vietnam inaugurated the Cuc Phuong Tourist Centre at the park last Friday. The center is one of three pilot projects worth 617 thousand USD funded by France. (VOVWORLD) - In December 2013, the UN General Assembly designated December 5, 2014 as the first official World Soil Day as a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and advocating for the sustainable management of soil resources. This year’s World Soil Day 2023 and its campaign aim to raise awareness of the importance and relationship between soil and water in achieving sustainable and resilient agrifood systems. (VOVWORLD) - December 1 is World AIDS Day. Many communication activities are being conducted nationwide to raise public awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention and control. The Can Tho City Center for Disease Control has coordinated with the Department of Politics and Ideology of the municipal Department of Education and Training to organize a contest on HIV/AIDS prevention and control for local high school students. The contest is an annual activity aimed at building safe and healthy schools, preventing social evils, and strengthening HIV/AIDS prevention and control among high school students.
